Achievements

• Created greater awareness about violence against children.
• Partnered with the New York State Office of Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Coordination in an effort to educate a greater number of children and parents on Internet Safety -- reaching almost 1,000 students, teachers, parents, law enforcement and others throughout 38 states.
• Held Webcast for 2300 high school students on Internet Safety
• Worked with law enforcement to save an abused teen on Facebook
• Saved the lives of four suicidal teens from Texas , Minnesota , Wisconsin and Florida
• Responsible for preventing bullying for over 175 kids and teens
• Assisted abusive parents in developing safe parenting practices through recommended resources
• Assisted over 300 children and families as they navigated the painful process of finding services, resources and assistance for children who were victims of violence, abduction and unjust outcomes in the family court system.
• Assisted over 200 families in helping to keep their children safe online
• Answered over 3,100 calls from individuals or groups requesting information or resources related to violence against children.
• Spoke to more than 50 parent groups and schools, reaching thousands of individuals with messages about education and the prevention of violence against children.
• Through speaking engagements and mail, over 100,000 received educational literature.
• Through email, over 1 million households received educational information.
• To date Love Our Children USA has reached over 4,200,000 people through our web site.
• Love Our Children USA informational materials are displayed in many police precincts across the country.
• Created National Love Our Children Day with annual proclamations from New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg declaring the 1st Saturday of every April as Love Our Children Day
• Established the National Block Parenting Program
• Launched National District Attorney’s Child Protection Task Force
• Launched Youth For Youth Partnership offering peer support to victimized youths
• Established the Darko Rapotez Memorial College Scholarship Fund for Youth Who Age Out of the Foster Care System
• Partnered with Supernanny.com
• The Love Our Children USA brand is featured in several movies
• Garnered the support of the entertainment industry and the media, as well as being advisors to these sectors
