How
to Send in a Scanned Picture or Poem:
Scan
your picture or poem using a low resolution such as 72 DPI
(Dots Per Inch), or set your scanning software to screen
presentation or equivalent.
(Using
a high resolution will not improve the quality of the image
in the gallery, and will create a large file which will
considerably slow down the email (pictures/poems displayed
in the gallery will be no larger than 640 pixels wide by
480 pixels high).
Save
your picture or poem to a location where you can easily
find it, such as your desktop (avoid saving the picture
as a GIF file, as this reduces the colors in the image to
256, degrading the quality; use JPG, or TIF instead).
